We shared our “why” and now here’s the “what”!

After a bumpy 2023, Rafael and I have decided to approach 2024 (the auspicious year of the Dragon) head on with a renewed strategy and a clear vision. We shared what we wanted to change in our new year’s resolution and now we are laying out what we want to achieve.

1. Focus on our Passion for Properties:

We both really love finding that ‘perfect’ property for our clients and friends. This year, we want to focus on delivering the best properties in buying and the best properties in renting. In the last few years, we’ve had to make purchases on tight timelines due to Golden Visa program changes. Although we made sure our clients walked into deals eyes wide open, we did feel the pressures of time against us. While we have always held our client’s best interest to heart, we will ensure our clients are up to speed on all of the changes from last year and that we will be their advocate throughout the whole process and sometimes we even have to save them from themselves. This means that our focus will continue to be staying informed about market trends, property values, and emerging opportunities but we will be increasing our time checking out properties proactively and also sharing the visits with you.

2. Client-Centric Enjoyment:

We realized some of our best work are for clients that appreciate the intangible value we bring for them. All of our clients expect quality service when employing us to find them properties or managing their renovation projects and that’s how we like to deliver. However, some of our clients really connect with us and appreciate the extra effort, the above and beyond, and the proverbial blood sweat and tears that we go through to make sure we secure the best property for them. These clients make the work that much sweeter so we are setting a goal to enjoy the people we work with and want to emphasize the importance of client relationships to us. We want every client interaction to be a positive experience, with open communication, empathy, and a commitment to fulfilling their unique needs.

3. Defining our services and our identity

Over the years we’ve been growing and learning as well as trying new things. What we’ve shared are some of the services that we’ve established but behind the scenes, we are always trying new services and new ways to figure out how to best serve our clients. Sometimes we get lost with all of our ideas to help our clients that we stretch ourselves a bit thin so this year, we are focusing on our core services.

Not only are we focusing on our work, we are also focusing on ourselves. It took us years to realize that we actually haven’t introduced ourselves and our story to you and we wanted to share how MOL Portugal came to be.

We hope that by setting these goals to focus on our passion for properties, to prioritize client enjoyment, and define our services as buyer's agents and more, we will help you navigate the complexities of the real estate landscape in Portugal in this upcoming Dragon year of opportunities and change, 2024.

Até já,

Mia and Rafael
